Sunday Best is the debut cookbook from Chef Adrienne Cheatham. In African American communities, dressing in your "Sunday Best" was synonymous to demanding acceptance, freedom, and inclusion during segregation. This tradition has informed Adrienne's style of cooking, which began with her interracial family in Chicago and Mississippi, evolved in the kitchens of famed chefs like Eric Ripert and Marcus Samuelsson, and eventually became her own through elevated riffs on comfort staples.

Chef Adrienne was the Chef in Residence at Stone Barns in August 2021.
